In an earnings call today, almost 18 years since the release of the last true edition to the Half-Life franchise, Gabe Newell, COO of fan favorite Valve Corporation, announced today the long awaited finale of its epic story.
Half-Life 3 is officially confirmed! Whilst many people have given up hope and some have continued to create fan fiction for the legendary franchise, they all can rest knowing their favorite storyline will have a proper finale.
Due to the announcement being on an earnings call, no questions were able to be asked, but a release date of January 2023 was given.
