On Friday morning what appeared to be a “strange satellite” embedded itself into broadcasting equipment on the roof of the current headquarters on Rosia Road.
Eye-witnesses seem to have contrasting views on what actually happened, yet most reporting today unanimously agreed on having felt a nauseating sensation between the hours of 9:00 and 10:00, around the time of the incident.
No-one inside the GBC building was aware of what had happened, and it strikes them and those nearby as odd that “not a sound” was made as it manifested in place.
Shockingly, it disappeared from view within 15 minutes, and some eyewitnesses appear to have completely forgotten giving their accounts. No damage was left, and nobody was hurt.
The Ministry of Defence has given a statement denying the possibility of the collision of a low-orbiting satellite, but has not yet confirmed whether an immediate investigation is in order.
